Along with a main dish and tasty sides, fruit is a must on any menu. Pears come halved or sliced and make a flavorful, low-calorie addition to a variety of recipes. For delicious pear recipes such as Pear Cherry Crepes, visit www.eatcannedpears.com.

The fussy patron loved the “crunch potato slices” and snack history was made.
