Fountain View, Friendship Village Sunset Hills’ assisted living community at 12777 Village Circle Drive, will present its first vintage car show from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9.

Up to 12 vintage vehicles ranging from 1920 to 1970 will be featured in the event, along with a retired 1964 St. Louis Fire Department pumper truck. Food, drinks, prizes and children’s games will be provided for those attending.

Until this year with one exception, the community sponsored an annual quilt show, supported by local churches, but participation waned, according to a news release. The car show replaces the annual quilt show. For more information about the car show, call (314) 270-7111.
