Kennerly Elementary School students recently received a surprise visit from Fredbird after two sisters won a contest sponsored by the Prairie Farms Run the Bases Program and presented by the St. Louis Cardinals. Fredbird surprised twin sisters Karlee, left, and Kirsten Gororo, shown here with Kennerly Principal Todd Morgan. Both girls are in second grade. They received Cardinals and other gifts, and their classmates enjoyed free ice cream and fun with Fredbird. The Run the Bases Program was presented during last summer’s Cardinals games.
