Hilary Lauren Frank, daughter of Bill and Denise Frank of Oakville, and Michael Robert Shoemake, son of John and Lynn Shoemake of Affton, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Frank, of Overland Park, Kan., graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor of science degree in nutritional science. She is employed by Hy Vee Grocery Stores of Independence as a health market manager.
Her fiance, Shoemake, of Overland Park, Kan., graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering. He is employed by the Rehrig-Pacific Co. of DeSoto, Kan., as a process engineer.
The couple plan a Sept. 1 wedding at Seven Holy Founders Catholic Church in Affton.
