Four Mehlville School District students named National Merit semifinalists

Four Mehlville School District students have been chosen as National Merit Scholarship semifinalists for the 2017-2018 school year.
The honorees are Mehlville High seniors Grant Robertson and Joshua Richter, right, and Oakville High seniors Olivia Rauls and Conrad Bucholtz, above.
An estimated 1.5 million students began the process of becoming a National Merit Scholarship winner by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
The four Mehlville School District students are among 16,000 students nationwide who made the semifinalist list.
They must now write an essay as part of the process to becoming a National Merit Scholarship finalist. he list of finalists will be announced in February.
Scholarship winners will be announced in April.
