It’s not too late to sign up for this year’s Mehlville/Oakville School District Found-ation Golf Tournament.

The registration deadline for the June 14 event is Monday, June 9. This year’s tournament, the eighth annual, will be played at Acorns Golf Links in Waterloo, Ill. The 18-hole four-person scramble begins with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m.

Golfers will enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast, lunch and drinks, and a variety of prizes will be awarded. The event also will feature an auction.

Entry fees are $100 per player or $400 per team. Hole sponsorships also are available for $100 each.

Proceeds from the tournament benefit tu-torial programs at each district school, provide student scholarships, fund teacher mini-grants, pay for building mini-grants and provide various educational activities not included in the district’s budget.
