The Foundation for Sunset Hills will sponsor its second annual “Sunset Hills Gala Dinner and Dance” Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Sunset Country Club, 9555 S. Geyer Road.

The evening will begin with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 6:30 p.m. followed by a gourmet dinner at 7:30 p.m. with music and dancing to the Theo Peoples Combo for the rest of the evening.

Peoples, who has performed with both the Temptations and the Four Tops, is a native St. Louisan who performed at last year’s gala to the delight of all in attendance, according to a news release.

The Foundation for Sunset Hills was founded five years ago as the Sunset Hills Conservation Foundation.

“Our mission is to protect, enhance and connect people to the natural resources of the city of Sunset Hills,” board Chairman Ron Hack stated in the release.

The cost is $150 per person, black-tie optional.
