Eight candidates seeking three seats on the Mehlville Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, March 10, at Mehlville Senior High School, 3200 Lemay Ferry Road, for a forum.

The forum, which will take place in the school’s Learning Resource Center, is free and open to the public. The forum will utilize League of Women Voters ground rules, which include audience questions submitted for candidates on index cards and strict adherence to time limits for responses.

Board of Education seats held by Vice President Karl Frank Jr., Ken Leach and Cindy Christopher are up for election.

The eight candidates are: Frank, Chris Brown, 5443 Butler Hill Estates Drive, 63128; David Bertelsen, 7009 Evergreen Meadows Court, 63129; Linda Mooy, 2225 Rainbow Drive, 63125; Drew Frauenhoffer, 3500 Yaeger Crossing Court, 63129; Deborah Langland, 2823 Spring Water Drive, 63129; former school-board member Marea Kluth-Hoppe, 5315 Oaklawn Drive, 63128; and Erin Weber, 2133 Pier-port Circle, 63129.

The school-board election will take place Tuesday, April 8.
