To the editor:

As former members of the Grantwood Village Board of Trustees, we are making public our collective endorsement of Walter Rust and Will Larson for election to the board on April 3.

We have carefully assessed their qualifications and goals for village administration. We are convinced that their presence on the Village Board will better ensure board representation for all residents, improve the dialogue within the community and lend strong financial oversight to village operations.

Both Walter and Will have extensive experience in business, finance and economics. They share a genuine desire to serve Grantwood Village and have devised forward-looking infrastructure and community betterment goals for the long-term health of the Village.

We encourage our neighbors in Grantwood Village to vote on April 3, and to consider the benefit to be gained from the addition of Walter Rust and Will Larson to the Grantwood Village Board of Trustees.

Grantwood Village is fortunate to have qualified residents willing to step up and lead. The upcoming election is important to determine the future direction of our Village. Please find time to cast your vote for Walter and Will, the last two names on the ballot, April 3.
