Am I one of the few who still might be living in the past?
I still think hard work should be rewarded, not penalized.
The Crestwood Board of Aldermen recently accepted Ward 3 Alderman Grant Mabie’s suggestion to postpone a proposal to evaluate whether the kitchen of The Barn restaurant should be renovated or expanded. The operator of The Barn restaurant, Karen Mott, has done a magnificent job of making the operation a resounding success. Not only should the kitchen be expanded, but I think the building also should be expanded.
But perhaps the Sappington House Foundation might have some say on this, although the building is owned by the city.
This issue should be resolved now. The mall property is still three years or more from being finished. If you have not enjoyed the food there, check it out. New faces always show up.
This item should have a high priority for the Board of Aldermen.
