The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for “freezing drizzle and some snow” expected to hit St. Louis County roads until midnight today.
Forecasters expect up to an inch of snow and a “light glaze” of ice accumulation, according to the weather alert.
The Mehlville School District has canceled all evening activities after 6 p.m. Monday. The Affton School District canceled all after-school activities.
The county Planning Commission canceled its executive meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. today. It is tentatively moved to next Monday, Feb. 12.
Affected counties include St. Louis County and St. Louis city, along with Callaway, Lincoln, Montgomery, St. Charles and Warren.
