The Mehlville Fire Protection District will sponsor a Holiday Food Drive on Fire Safety from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, Engine House No. 5, 11020 Mueller Road.

Canned foods will be accepted as well as donations to help those in need during the holidays. All canned foods and donations will go to Feed My People.

The canned food drive will continue through Dec. 20.

On Saturday, children can meet Santa and have their photo taken. Firefighters and paramedics will be available for photos and will teach children about fire safety. Fire truck displays and fire gear demonstrations also will be featured and public fire and EMS educational material will be distributed.

Parents may bring their own camera to take pictures of their children.
