The Lindbergh High School Flyerettes received several awards at the recent Universal Dance Association summer camp at Tan-Tar-A. The varsity team won second place in the home routine competition — large varsity division — the Full Out Award and five spirit sticks. The junior varsity team earned first place in the home routine competition — JV division — the Full Out Award and five spirit sticks. Both squads earned Superior Rankings for their team routines, which qualifies both teams for the Universal Dance Association Nationals competition in Orlando, Fla. The girls brought home 41 individual blue ribbons and four team blue ribbons as well.
