Mehlville Fire Protection District firefighters spent two days last week performing training exercises in the district’s new No. 3 firehouse on South Lindbergh Boulevard. Firefighters spent May 23 and May 24 practicing internal and ex-ternal rope rescue drills, according to Chief Brian Hendricks. ‘ The building worked beautifully, just as designed ,’ Hendricks told the Board of Directors.
