The Mehlville Fire Protection District will host a holiday food drive from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at the district’s Engine House No. 5, 11020 Mueller Road.

Canned foods will be accepted, along with donations to help those in need during the holidays. All canned foods and donations will go to Feed My People.

The canned food drive will continue through Thursday, Dec. 18.

On Dec. 6, children can meet with Santa and parents can take photos. Firefighters will be available for photos and to teach children about fire safety.

Visitors also will be able to view fire trucks and fire-gear displays. Fire-safety and EMS educational material will be on display. District officials urge parents to bring their cameras. Call (314) 894-0420 for more information.
