Rich and Carol Jahnke celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary Sept. 19 at their Oakville residence with family members.
Richard Jahnke and the former Carol Martin were married Sept. 19, 1959, at Grace United Church of Christ in St. Louis.
He is retired from Wetterau.
They are the parents of four children: Donna Jahnke, Mark Jahnke, Patti Sease and Barbara Stokes.
The couple have six grandchildren: Kurt and Adam Overy, Alexis and R.J. Jahnke and Makayla and Sara Stokes.
Mr. and Mrs. Jahnke have lived in Oakville for more than 50 years.
