Survivors include his wife, Mildred Shanley (nee Herold); daughters and son-in-law, Arlene Shanley and Carol and Ken Jeans; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services and visitation were at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons, south county. Burial was in New St. Marcus Cemetery.
