Born in St. Louis, Mr. Forster resided in Sappington. He was a lithographer and a member of the American Association of Retired Persons and the PBA St. Louis Graphic Arts Association.

Survivors include his wife of more than 20 years, Pauline A. “Polly” Forster (nee Ritzel) who met at the ages of 11 and 9; son, Stephen Forster; brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Betty Forster.

Services were at St. Thomas Holy Spirit Lutheran Church. Visitation was at John L. Ziegenhein. Burial was in Waterloo, Ill.
