The St. Francis of Assisi eighth-grade girls’ volleyball team recently captured the 2009 South County Championship with an 18-12 record. The girls took first place in the St. Justin Fall Fire Up Tournament and the 20th annual Ruth Ann McGrory Slam Tournament.
