Eggers named Sperreng associate principal

Mark Eggers has been named associate principal for the 2010-2011 school year at Sperreng Middle School.

Eggers brings 30 years of educational experience to the district, including teaching, school administration, coaching and athletic administration, according to a Lindbergh Schools news release. Nine of those years were spent working in the middle-school environment. Before his current job as principal of St. Charles High School, he was an assistant principal at Lindbergh High School for four years.

He earned his doctorate of education and Missouri principal certification from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, his master of science in education from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and his bachelor of arts in education from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kan.

In 2009, he was named Principal of the Year by the St. Louis Association of Secondary School Principals, according to the release.
