Lindbergh Early Childhood Education students recently decorated T-shirts, made flags and headbands and created musical instruments for the school’s annual Fourth of July Parade. The 3- and 4-year-olds in Katie Therina’s Monkey classroom used red- and blue-colored markers to decorate their white T-shirts. Their teachers then applied rubbing alcohol using an eyedropper, which caused the colors to smear like tie dye into designs that look like fireworks. Above, students display their T-shirts, which they planned to wear during the school’s Fourth of July parade Wednesday — after the Call went to press.
