Loraine Ebel, daughter of William and Cynthia Ebel of Kirkwood and Affton, and James Gehm, son of James Gehm Sr. and Debra Gehm of St. Louis, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Ebel, of Oakville, is a graduate of Ursuline Academy and is employed by Simply Ballroom of Frontenac as a dance instructor.
Her fiance, Gehm, received a criminal justice degree from Jefferson College, Hillsboro, and is a police officer for the city of Crestwood.
The couple plan an Oct. 10 wedding at the Jewel Box in Forest Park.
