Letter to the Editor
To the editor:
With reference to Dan Weir’s letter published in the May 22 issue of The Call concerning excessively loud mufflers on motor vehicles, I recently moved to the Concord area from Webster Groves.
While I expected normal highway noise, I did not expect to live in the middle of what sounds like a drag strip.
Also connected with the noise is the speeding and rapid acceleration to produce this stress-inducing noise. I agree with Mr. Weir — where is law enforcement?
This is a serious quality-of-life issue.
Perhaps our County Council members can address this?
