Leah Rose Hohmeier, daughter of Sylvia Hohmeier of St. Louis, and Myles Bennett Strid, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Miles and Mr. and Mrs. Marc Strid of Columbia, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Hohmeier graduated as valedictorian from Life Christian High School in 2006 and currently is completing her studies at William Woods University in Fulton. She is an English major with a history minor and works part time at the Columbia Daily Tribune.
Her fiancé, Strid, is a 2004 graduate of Hickman High School in Columbia and works for the Missouri Department of Corrections in Jefferson City.
The couple plan a December wedding.
