Crestwood no longer will have an assistant to the city administrator position.

Assistant to the City Administrator Nikki Koehnemann’s last day of employment was May 22, which Ward 1 Alderman Mimi Duncan stated during board member reports at the board’s the May 22 meeting.

Mayor Jeff Schlink told the Call acting City Administrator Karl Kestler, who was absent from the board meeting due to vacation, indicated the assistant to the city administrator position would not be filled and the duties of that post would be spread to various city employees.

Koehnemann’s departure from the city comes roughly two months after former City Administrator Petree Eastman left her position.
