
Open Space STL and the City of Crestwood will have a trash pick-up event Saturday at Whitecliff Park.
Mayor Scott Shipley will lead the volunteer cleanup, which is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 28 at 9 a.m. at the park, 9245 Whitecliff Park Lane. Check-in begins at 8:45 a.m. Volunteers will meet in the lower parking lot.
Pre-registration is recommended but walkups are welcome. For registration, visit https://volunteer.openspacestl.org/need/detail/?need_id=854822. Volunteers will get a free River des Peres Trash Bash shirt. Volunteers should include their t-shirt size in the notes when registering.
Volunteers should wear closed-toe or waterproof shoes, a hat and sunscreen, and weather-appropriate clothing that can get dirty.
Insect repellent, sturdy gloves and a filled water bottle (reusable recommended) are also suggested.
