A south St. Louis County resident recently was able to buy vowels and spin the “Wheel of Fortune.”

Michael Hurley, 24, of Crestwood advanced to the bonus round of “Wheel of Fortune,” which was taped on Oct. 16 in Culver City, Calif.

He won $7,200 and a trip to Telluride, Colo., according to a press release.

The trip was valued at $7,800.

The show is scheduled to air at 6:30 p.m. today — Dec. 25 — on NBC’s Channel 5.

The show that airs Dec. 26 also will feature a resident from Granite, Ill., who advanced to the bonus round and won a trip to the Caribbean Islands.
