To support the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure that is a big part of the St. Louis summer, Crestwood Elks Lodge 2503 served dinner during a recent meeting night and raised $1,031 for the Komen St. Louis Affiliate. Attendees sported their pink attire and gave generously to support this worthy cause, a press release stated.

      • The campaign committee for Mehlville School District’s Proposition S, Mehlville-Oakville United, hosted a donut drive thru Saturday, March 13 at Mehlville High School, Washington Middle School and Oakville Middle/Wohlwend Elementary. The event featured free donuts, “Yes on S” car painting and committee members dressed in costumes to raise awareness about the bond measure, the district’s first in over 20 years.
