After buying Crestwood Court for $17 million in 2008, Centrum Partners and Angelo, Gordon & Co. have put the former mall site up for auction.

Bids starting at $1 million, with a deposit of $25,000, will be taken from prospective buyers starting April 21.

The mall property, presented by real-estate agent CBRE and Auction.com, will be shown to prospective buyers from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 10 and April 17.

Known at various times as Crestwood Plaza, Westfield Shoppingtown Crestwood and most recently Crestwood Court, the former mall’s last tenant left in September.

In 1998, the mall’s previous owner, Westfield, paid $106.4 million to acquire the 1.3-million-square-foot mall from Crestwood Plaza Shopping Center, a subsidiary of Hycel Properties.
