Margo Cox, daughter of Andy and Vickie Cox of Blue Springs, and Dr. Jon Wagner, son of Ken and Marti Wagner of Sunset Hills, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Cox is a graduate of Blue Springs High School and earned a degree in nursing at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
She is a pediatric intensive care nurse at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.
Her fiancé, Wagner, is a graduate of Lindbergh High School, the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in biochemistry and the University of Kansas City School of Medicine and Biosciences.
He is a third-year resident at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.
The couple plan a May 8 wedding in Kansas City.
They will move to Hershey, Pa., where he has accepted a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the Penn State University Medical Center.
