To the editor:

I live on Marbury Drive in one of the oldest and smaller subdivisions in Oakville.

Over the years, this street has been patched and re-patched many times, but it became obvious this spring that the street needed major repairs or replacement.

The crew of the St. Louis County Department of Transportation very efficiently made the necessary repairs, which also provided better drainage of stormwater into the sewer system.

The workers were courteous and considerate of residents’ comings and goings as they diligently worked on the project.

Thank you for a job well done.
