Spring has sprung in one Sunset Hills resident’s garden. Mary Halloran, who lives off West Watson Road in Sunset Hills, shows off her colorful garden full of tulips that bloomed April 9. Halloran planted the bulbs at the beginning of fall.
With temperatures expected to drop as low as 32 degrees tonight, the St. Louis County Office of Emergency Management is warning of frost accumulation.
The cold isn’t expected to be dangerous to humans, but any sensitive outdoor plants could be killed. A statement by OEM said to bring any sensitive plant’s indoors to prevent harm.
