County to offer children’s soccer camp in July

The county Department of Parks and Recreation invites young soccer players interested in improving their soccer skills to a camp scheduled Monday, July 11, through Thursday, July 14.
The camp will offer skill training sessions and small-sided games for soccer players ages 7 to 12, according to a county news release.
The head coach is a Division I collegiate player with both playing and coaching experience, the release stated.
The indoor soccer camp cost $55 per child. Call (314) 894-3089 to register.
Training sessions run from 12:30 to 3 p.m. each day at the Kennedy Recreation Complex, 6050 Wells Road.
Besides the soccer camp, the department will offer many other educational specialty camps, including yoga, karate, scuba, snorkel clinics, “Drama-Rama,” “Abra-Kid-Abra” camp and “Mad Science” camps.
