County to host two town-hall meetings in south county

County officials will host two town hall meetings in south county, one from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, in the Lindbergh High School cafeteria, 4900 S. Lindbergh Blvd., and the other from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, in Bernard Middle School gymnasium, 1054 Forder Road.

The town hall meetings are opportunities for residents to meet county officials and staff, learn about projects and events in south county and hear from County Executive Charlie Dooley.

The agenda for both meetings will include:

6:30 to 7 p.m. – Open house, with displays and materials highlighting county government services. Residents can talk with county government staff about issues affecting their neighborhood and community.

7 to 7:30 p.m. – Presentation, where residents will learn about important projects and events in south county.

7:30 to 8:30 p.m. – Q&A session with County Executive Charlie Dooley. Residents will have an opportunity to ask questions and get answers from the county executive and his staff.

Staff from the following county departments will be on hand to meet with residents: county executive’s office, county Economic Council, county Police Department, Department of Health, Department of Highways & Traffic, Department of Human Services, Department of Parks & Recreation, Department of Planning, Department of Public Works and Department of Revenue.
