Concord Trinity United Methodist Church, 5275 S. Lindbergh Blvd., will of-fer classes to families that are struggling with family balance as they help a family member who has a chronic illness such as depression, addiction or a mental or physical impairment.
The eight-week session will begin Sat-urday, May 31. Each class will meet from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the lower level of the church. A small fee will be charged.
Eight Saturday morning classes will help participants learn how to regain a healthy family balance. Two family educators, Jill Schroeck and Alice Tourville, will conduct the classes, which are designed to educate a family member or an entire family.
The classes are for information, and are not intended to take the place of therapy or medical treatment from your own physician or therapist, a news release stated.
