Ameren Corporation has named Jeff Gibbs, of Concord, manager of Energy Trading, at the company’s headquarters in St. Louis.
Gibbs joined Ameren, formerly Union Electric, in 1986 as an engineer in the company’s Power Operations Department. Most recently he served as director, Natural Gas Supply and Transportation.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1986. Gibbs is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and St. Simon’s Catholic Church.
Gibbs and his wife, Sabrina have one son, Kyle, age 5.
