The Girls on the Run club at Concord Elementary School recently collected 125 wish-list items for local children’s home Angel’s Arms.

Items collected included snack foods, juice boxes, gift cards, paper products, toiletries, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, diapers, food and gift cards.

Club members appeared on Concord’s Flyervision announcements to share their project with other students and hung posters around school with suggested donation items, according to a district news release.

Following the collection, the girls gift-wrapped boxes for the items and made cards with encouraging messages.
