To the editor:
Bravo to Crestwood Ward 3 Aldermen Don Maddox and Jerry Miguel for hosting the town-hall meeting held recently.
Their willingness not only to make an effort to ensure that Ward 3 residents are informed about issues affecting the city, but also to stand in front of those whom they represent and answer difficult questions is to be commended.
This type of forum afforded those who are not able to attend board meetings the opportunity to speak at length on these issues and discuss them directly with their aldermen.
One can only hope that the presence of Aldermen Duwe and Kelleher signaled their belief that a better informed community is an asset to Crestwood and that they, if they have not done so already, will hold similar such meetings in their respective wards.
