Club sets 32nd annual Holiday House Tour

The 32nd annual Lindbergh High School Mothers’ Club Holiday House Tour, “A Storybook Christmas,” will feature six wonderfully decorated homes in the school district.

The Holiday House Tour will take place from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2. A festive brunch from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and a holiday boutique from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sunset Country Club also are part of the day’s events.

Tour highlights include: a Homer Award Winner for Best Custom Home, granite countertops made entirely of floor tiles, unique family photograph displays, a tea service from an “Oprah’s Favorite Things” episode, a fabulous wall of windows, original Mary Engelbreit illustrations, wall-to-wall built-in bookcases housing holiday dioramas, European cottage design using reclaimed bricks from the Soulard area, a custom-made entertainment center featuring five televisions, fireplace mantels salvaged from homes built for the St. Louis World’s Fair and breathtaking views of Laumeier Sculpture Park.

Tour proceeds help the Lindbergh High School Mothers’ Club provide more than $20,000 of academic support annually to students and staff.
