The Crestwood-Sunset Hills Area Chamber of Commerce and sponsor US Bank recently honored Amra Mehanovic of South Technical High School as Student of the Month.
Sponsors presented her with a Chamber plaque and a $50 U.S. Savings Bond. Amra is a senior in the Advertising and Graphic Design Program. She carries a 3.5 GPA, is a three year member of SkillsUSA and holds offices of East District Reporter and Missouri SkillsUSA State Reporter.
She has attended the Missouri Skills USA Fall Leadership Conference and the National SkillsUSA Leadersip Conference in Washington D.C. She is a leader in the classroom and sees the importance of giving back to the community by working with animal shelters and activities for special needs students. She is a member of the Cliff Cave Library Book Club Committee and a Kiwanis Junior.
