CHADS Coalition slates Christmas concerts

The angelic voices of area young men and women with compassionate hearts will sing out to support adolescent depression and suicide research and education during two concerts to benefit the Communities Healing Adolescent Depression and Suicide, or CHADS, Coalition for Mental Health.

The third annual CHADS Coalition Benefit Christmas Concerts will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Faith Lutheran Church, 6101 Telegraph Road, Oakville, and at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at the Dardenne Presbyterian Church, 7400 Highway N, Dardenne Prairie.

The Oakville concert will feature the Mehlville High School Show Choir, the Oakville High School Show Choir, the St. Louis University Mass Choir, the St. Louis University High School Concert Chorus, the Amateurs from Washington University, Remnant Generation, Dawn Brancato and the Illinois Choral Singers.

The Dardenne Prairie concert will feature the Fort Zumwalt East High School, the Fort Zumwalt South High School, the Karl Zimmerman Band, Remnant Generation, Dawn Brancato, Francis Howell North High School and Francis Howell South High School.

Tickets cost $10 and are available by calling (314) 952-2046. Tickets also will be available at the door.
