Chad Byrd and Carrie Venable-Byrd of Crestwood an-nounce the birth of their son, Luke Ry-an, 20¼ inches, 7 pounds. He was born March 4 at St. John’s Mercy Medi-cal Center.
Elder children in-clude Trey, 15; Megan, 14; and Abby, 10.
Maternal grandparents are Phyllis Huffaker of El Dorado, Kan., and Ed Huffaker of Independence, Kan.
Paternal grandparents are Mary Byrd of Las Vegas, Nev. and John Byrd of Northwood, Iowa.
