Burnell and Shirley Rapp celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary June 11 during a reception at the American Legion Hall in St. Louis.

Mr. Rapp and the former Shirley A. Felders were married June 11, 1949, at Hope Lutheran Church on Neosho Street in St. Louis by the Rev. E.L. Roschke.

He is retired from Prudential Insurance Co. of American, where he worked for 35 years. Mrs. Rapp is retired from the YMCA after 25 years.

They have one child, Jeffrey B. Rapp, and two grandchildren, Lindsay Rapp and Bryan Rapp.
