Breeding re-elected Crestwood board president
December 31, 1969
Crestwood Ward 1 Alderman Richard Breeding recently was re-elected president of the city’s Board of Aldermen.
Breeding, who was unopposed in April in his bid for a third, three-year term as alderman, was elected president of the Board of Aldermen last week with a 7-0 vote. Ward 3 Alderman Don Maddox was absent.
Breeding, first elected board president last year, will continue to serve as acting mayor until Aug. 3, when a special election will be conducted to fill the unexpired term of former Mayor Jim Robertson, who resigned in January.
