Brandon Bond, a 2002 graduate of Lindbergh High School, has been appointed to the Air Force Academy.
Bond received a Falcon Foundation Scholarship to Northwestern Prepara-tory in California last fall.
This spring Bond was notified that he received the appointment by U.S. Rep. Todd Akins.
At Lindbergh High School, Bond was a four-year starter on the varsity baseball team, and a three-year starting quar-terback, leading Lindbergh to its first state playoffs in 2001.
Bond was also a member of the Na-tional Honor Society.
He reports to the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs in June.
