The county Department of Parks and Recreation will offer a bluegrass concert from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, July 7, at Suson Park, 6073 Wells Road.

George Portz & the Friends of Bluegrass will make a special appearance down by the barn in Suson Park. Gates will open at 6 p.m.

George Portz & the Friends of Bluegrass have been entertaining audiences throughout the county for more than 30 years.

The cost is $5 for those 12 years old and older. Children 11 and younger will be admitted free. Tickets are available at the gate.

Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. Concessions are available. Parking is free.
