Bierbaum Elementary School students wore their pajamas to school the day before Thanksgiving for a fundraising event.
Bierbaum Principal Kristy Roberts said if students donated 50 cents to buy fleece for blankets, they would be able to wear their pajamas to school, according to a district news release.
The blankets will be donated to residents at the Green Park Nursing Home. Students will visit residents at the nursing home next month.
The effort is sponsored by Helping Herd, which is Bierbaum’s student service club.
