Bierbaum Elementary School students and their families recently put their five senses to work for the school’s Science Night. With their detective hats on, participants used their problem-solving skills and enjoyed such activities as creating helicopters from pieces of paper and using magnets to determine the iron content of breakfast cereal. Above, first-grader C.J. Kult enjoys the evening’s festivities, which were organized by the Bierbaum Family Involvement Committee.
