Best-selling author visits Trautwein

New York Times best-selling author Patrick Carman signs one of his books for Trautwein Elementary School fifth-grader Tyler Hemmelgarn. Carman spoke to Trautwein third-, fourth- and fifth-grade students last week, using stories from his childhood to give them advice on how to become better writers. Another central theme in Carman’s presentation was the importance of reading.
