Baccalaureate Service set for Oakville graduates

Students from the Oakville Senior High School Class of 2005 will participate in a Baccalaureate Service at 7 p.m. Monday, June 6, at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, 4900 Ringer Road.

A rehearsal will be conducted at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 5, at the church.

This Christian celebration service provides an opportunity for the students to re-flect upon their school careers, thank God for their accomplishments and celebrate with their families and friends during this special time in their lives, according to a news release. A reception will follow the ceremony in the church’s community center. The theme of the candlelight service is “The Road Ahead” and will include many instrumental and vocal selections performed by Oakville senior class members.

Seniors also will present reflections and Scripture readings.

The Baccalaureate Service is open to all Oakville High School graduating seniors, their families and the public.

For reservations, call (314) 846-0881 or (314) 846-4360.
